I’m Manuela — the heart and hands behind The Wild Illustrator.
My journey began in 2002 at IED in Rome, balancing my art studies with a job as a waitress. After graduation, I worked as a graphic and motion designer, collaborating with creative agencies. Yet, my soul craved more — freedom, travel, and a deeper connection with the world.
The world became my studio.
In 2014, I became one of the first digital nomads, exploring South East Asia, Australia, the United States, and Europe. Every journey left a mark on my art, awakening a profound connection with nature and the universe.
The birth of The Wild Illustrator.
In 2021, I created this space to share artwork that celebrates the wild beauty of nature and the intuitive power of the feminine spirit. Each piece is a quiet ritual, a moment to pause and reconnect with yourself and the world around you.
Sharing magic with others.
In 2025, I published my first adult coloring book, Zauberhafte Ausmalwelten, inviting people to slow down, explore, and create their own rituals. Today, I’m also proud to be part of the Eclipse Art Auctions collective, sharing my art alongside inspiring artists worldwide.
