In my studio, each artwork begins with silence and observation.
I work primarily with watercolor and ink on archival Arches cotton paper, building layers slowly through a mixed media process that combines precision and intuition. Every piece is created by hand in my studio, using lightfast, professional-grade materials to ensure longevity and depth.
Materials & Technique
My work is developed through a layered mixed media technique:
• Handcrafted watercolors
• Professional inks
• Colored pencils
• Gouache
• Metallic pigments (select works)
• Arches 100% cotton paper (300–640 gsm)
Each layer is applied gradually, allowing transparency, texture, and contrast to emerge naturally.
All materials are selected for light resistance and archival stability.
Original works are protected with a final fixative layer when required.
Process
The process is slow and deliberate.
I begin with structure in ink, then develop atmosphere through transparent watercolor washes.
Details are refined with colored pencil and gouache, building depth and subtle tonal shifts.
The metallic elements are applied selectively to enhance light interaction — never as decoration, but as part of the visual rhythm of the piece.
Every artwork evolves organically. I listen more than I impose.
Prints
Limited edition prints are produced on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308 gsm, a museum-grade fine art paper known for its velvety texture and longevity.
Each edition is:
• Signed and numbered
• Produced in small, controlled quantities
• Carefully packaged in my studio
Commitment
I work independently, producing and overseeing every step of the process: from painting to print preparation and packaging.
My practice values craftsmanship, material integrity, and emotional depth over speed or mass production.
