Solutio is the second chapter of Elementa, a closed cycle of three original artworks.
After the root comes the water.
This piece represents dissolution: the moment when what was buried begins to soften, move, and return. A pale figure stands in stillness, holding within her body a small inner sea: a hidden place where memory, emotion, and forgotten parts of the self begin to rise.
Around her, fish move like fragments of a dream. The moon behind her becomes a quiet witness, while the flowing lines and shimmering details suggest water, breath, and the slow release of what has been held for too long.
Solutio speaks of surrender, remembrance, and liberation. It is not a dramatic breaking point, but a gentle unbinding: the moment when the past stops being a prison and becomes a current.
This is a one-of-a-kind original artwork on paper, created with watercolor, ink, gouache, and colored pencils.
